How to setup your BingX API keys on Copile

This guide will walk you through the process of aquiring your BingX API keys and setting them up on Copile. Note that API keys are highly sensitive so ensure you are cautious when dealing with them. Copile requires minimal permissions for your API keys, and always puts security first.

Step 1: Accessing your API keys on BingX

  1. Head to https://bingx.com and login

  2. Select the profile icon in the top right menu

  1. Once you are on the API Management page click "Create API"

  2. Name this API "Copile" or something that identifies it to be related to Copile

  1. Continue through the verification process, you may be unable to create an API if you do not have certain 2FA security measures setup

  1. Once you have completed the verification, your API keys will be created

  2. Click edit as we need to adjust some permissions

  1. Toggle "Perpetual Futures Trading" and click save. Do not change any other settings.

Toggling "Perpetual Futures Trading" allows Copile to execute trades on your behalf. It is important you do not select any other options as this will allow additional permissions that we do not require, thus adding additional risk to your assets.

You may be asked to verify again, after saving.
  1. Copy your API and secret key and head to https://user.copile.trade/settings

Step 2: Submitting your API keys on Copile

  1. Select the Binance exchange and paste your API and secret key into their respective fields

  2. Click Submit

  3. Wait for your API keys to be encrypted and updated

  4. Once finished, head back to the BingX API Management page and either refresh or close the tab to ensure your secret keys are no longer visible without verifying.

  5. You must now configure your trader settings. Users are required to configure both their preferred exchange and position size mode after entering their API keys. Simply entering an exchanges API keys alone without configuring plan settings will result in no trades being executed. Please see Settings for more information.
